Jessie Baylin rocked my world
so i got the opportunity to see Jessie Baylin in brooklyn last night and it was amazing. i left work early and hopped on the road. it was a four hour drive but amazingly worth it. when i got to the bar she was eating with her band so i left her alone but later she came up to the bar and i introduced myself and she recognized me from facebook and asked about my trip down. she was so sweet. very gracious and thankful. we chatted for a little bit and then i told her to go enjoy herself and i’d say hello later.
the show was AMAZING. she really did blow my mind. the new material was flawless and singing along with ‘leave your mark’ was definitely a highlight. everyone was really into it. jessie’s crowd interaction was great. you could tell she was really appreciative of all the love in the room (the venue was amazing just btw). her energy was infectious and with the charisma coming from the stage you couldnt help but dance. she made sure everyone was involved in the show. it was a perfect night. i immediately need all the new material on my ipod. i can’t wait to hear it again. trying to make moves to get to her other brooklyn shows. i begged her to come to boston so i hope she can!
after the show she walked around making sure she thanked everyone and talked to them. it was really sweet. i stuck around to say goodbye and she came up and said goodbye and told me to get on the road because she didn’t want me driving all night. all in all she made every fan feel like they were her new bff. just a perfect evening. she’s one of the few good artists left - gracious, talented and thankful.
loved every minute. definitely worth the all night drive.
